Marth/Falco Doubles Viability

My friend and I are Marth and Falco mains who started playing doubles. We might go to CEO and was wondering if that matchup will work or if my friend should switch to Fox instead of Falco.

I ask this because I know that Falco and Marth get nerfed in doubles, but I've seen great Marth/Fox teams. For example, PPU and SFAT.

We would use Marth/Falco, but there's nothing really on that matchup and we're wondering if it's viable or not.

Well I don't know that much about doubles but I do know that both Marth and Falcos weakness are shown a lot more in doubles. Falcos movement and Marth needing space. Both also have very few saves as opposed to Sheik, Puff and Peach who all have their upairs to save but since Falco's goes nowhere and Marth's too slow recovering will be more of pain than it usually is with the two.

A big reason Marth Fox works well because marth can grab and fox can upsmash but what can Falco do? D-Smash? F-Smash and hit the Marth? And Falco works well when paired with fox because of lasers but Lasers are also worse in teams.

Honestly I would suggest one of you to switch to Fox, probable the Falco because Marth kinda sucks with anyone else. Marth-Fox is good, Falco-Fox is even better.

But if you can make Marth Falco work I would love to see it.

Falco is secret god tier in teams. Just super hard to use and the strategy is so different from singles. If anything, Marth gets nerfed harder in doubles imo. It's harder to do his combos and edgeguard setups in doubles, and his recovery really sucks in doubles.
