Mario's Final Smash

Is there any idea how to be effective with Mario's Final Smash? It's not like Samus's where you can tilt the attack. Or can you?
We usually play with four people and I will manage to hit one person. I want to hit everybody. Should I jump offstage, do the final smash, and jump back on stage?

Your best choice is to aim it high enough above the stage so that it can't be jumped over or DIed out of (Mario's final smash is designed to KO off the screen, not for star KOs).

In a FFA, ???'s method works.

Launching your opponents off the side and following up with the FS is my favorite. 4p, just shorthop and launch, timing will develop as you use it more.

Try hitting them with the bottom part of the attack this why it will be harder for them to DI out of it or escape.

Just keep spaming fireball at your opponents. When they get close short hop then use it, they might receive some kind of hitstun and will most likely be carried off the screen with the attack.

Thank you for all the help. I will try jumping in the air before doing the smash. But any new ideas for moving stages like Delfino or large stages like New Pork City?

Get right next to them and launch it off because it drags them in if they get by it ><
