A Super Smash Bros. 4 tournament presented by The Kennis Six

King of the Hill #3 will be hosted on Saturday, December 17th at G2K Games in the Rock Hill Galleria in Rock Hill, SC.

Hosted in the mall, this location is the perfect place to shop, eat, drink at the bar/arcade, or buy gaming merchandise before and after the tournament!

Registration will be closed thirty minutes before each event begins. If you are not registered via pre-registration or at the door, a $5 late fee will be assessed.

Tournament fee: $5
Smash 4 Wii U Singles: $5
Smash 4 Wii U Doubles: $10 ($5 each)
Sun and Moon: $3

PAYOUT:
Smash 4: 60%/30%/10% - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Pokemon Sun and Moon: 70%/30% - 1st, 2nd

Smash 4 Wii U Doubles: 2:30PM
Smash 4 Wii U Singles: 5:00PM

SMASH 4 RULES:

Stocks: 2 (Doubles: 3)
Timer: 6 minutes (Doubles: 8 minutes)
Customs: Off
Mii Fighters: 1111 Only
Team Attack (Doubles): On
Top 8: Best of 5

- Battlefield/Dream Land 64
- Final Destination/Omega Stages
- Smashville

Counterpick:
- Town and City

STAGE SELECTION:

*: Treated as Battlefield in the striking phase. If Battlefield is banned, Dream Land 64 is also banned, and vice versa.
**: Treated as Final Destination in striking phase. If Final Destination is banned, Omega stages are banned and vice versa. You may only choose the following Omega Stages: Suzaku Castle, Wily Castle, Palutena's Temple, Guar Plains
***: There is no Dave's Stupid Rule in this ruleset. Players are allowed to choose a stage they have previously won on, unless banned.

POKEMON SUN AND MOON:
We've heard your requests, and we're hosting Pokemon Sun and Moon--tournament style!

We will be using the Smogon OU ruleset for King of the Hill #3!

Here are the details of the Smogon OU ruleset that we will be running for Pokemon Sun and Moon:

The tournament format will be double elimination. Matches will be 6v6, best two of three.

Switching teams, items, or Pokemon in between matches is allowed.

just 1 question: Other than controllers/entry fee is there anything i need to bring?

Question: are different button layouts allowed at tournaments? And if so, would the player just set the layout before the match?

Yes, players are allowed to input or edit their own names and control schemes before a match. All controllers are allowed, but if you bring a wireless controller we simply ask that you desync when leaving a setup.
