I'm totally channeling my inner 11 year old nerd:

Gohan went straight to Ascended Saiyan, yo yo yoz. Which I'm pretty sure was technically a permanent original Super Saiyan.

Wow. I can remember stupid stuff!

he was in the hyperbaric time chamber and goku taught him how to SS1, but then he was the first to get to SS2 i think......fighting cell. its been a while for me too, but thats how i remember it.
