Make Grab only use "Grab" and not Shield?

I know for tournament players it probably isn't feasible, but are there any codes that exist that can make Z button just grab without the shield? I suppose you can say I'm a casual player although I play a lot, and I'd love to be able to just grab and never have to worry about the shield. Or even if possible to make a code as such that makes you only grab?
