Major Issues w/Riivolution.

Alright, I'll try to be quick here are my issues.

-I cant change my controls on vbrawl when using riivolution. the game freezes when someone tries to edit their gc controller settings.
-I am a little confused as to how to organize the folders. My setup is. x/brawlmods/vbrawl/
brawlmods/vbrawl/fighter etc. and then I have x/brawlmods/textures, x/brawlmods/stages, and x/brawlmods/music/strm

Im using bionicsonic's modlauncher (don't know if its the best one or not), and i didn't put the RSBE01.gct file in the vbrawl folder either.

My stage/character textures and japanese sfx work but when I insert my common5.pac file into the system folder in vbrawl, it doesnt show up. is my file to big or something? I've been working on fixing this for hours with no positive results, and being new to this isn't helping at all. Could someone please help me out?

my textures are like this for example:
x:/brawlmods/textures/menu2/sc_selcharacter_en

Try putting common5.pac to the textures/system/ ?

I found out ways to use music, CSPs and other textures by just trying them to different locations.
