Which is the best main theme in the series? Vote on your favorite while you can rank them from best to worst in your post:

My personal favorite is Brawl's, with Melee's (intro) at a close second.

Brawl and Melee (menu) are my top two, in that order. After that, I'm not sure.

Much as I love Uematsu's contribution to Brawl, I've gotta go with Smash64.

I gotta go with Smash 4 on this one. I think it really fits the best with what the Smash series really is.
Smash is the coming together of Nintendo's greatest all-stars in a fight. The fights can be chaotic and fun or they can be really serious and competitive; I get this vibe from the main theme for Smash 4. Honestly, I fell in love with the theme when we first heard it at E3 and I am obsessed with the menu theme.

I love Melee's themes next since just because of how they sound. The menu theme gets you pumped for the next fight while the opening theme is very graceful, especially when heard during Event 51.
I would say that I love Brawl's theme as much as Melee's themes, but I am not a fan of how much it was shoved into your face (yet I don't get that annoyance with Smash 4's theme oddly) and I think that it takes itself a bit too seriously. The lyrics fit with every fighter in Smash and I love it for that reason.
Lastly, I love Smash 64's theme, but I only really listen to it when I want to reflect on the Smash series as a whole. As such, it's my least favorite.
