I don't know, it's something I do quite often in my matchs.
Kind of just.. came out to me in the blue while attacking and getting juggled.
Do the Mach Tornado to sweep people in, lift yourself up if you want, you don't have to.

Right when you hit the ground, hold the standard attack button so you just attack.
You'll rack up some damage, and most of the time they can't move for about 3-5 seconds.
Repeat it as many times as you want, it's a good spam attack when it hits.

(Plus if you are in teams, it gives your teammate some time to nail a smash attack)
Try it out a few times, but it's a really good set up for other combos.

Have you ever even used Meta Knight? The last hit of his mach tornado knocks people away, and even if it didn't, you can DI out of his neutral A attack easily and punish.

This does not work at all, sorry.

Directional Influence.
But even then, I still manage to get people somehow.
Whether it's by strifing or whatever (moving away from the final hit).

It still works.

Alright alright, maybe the 3-5 was an exaggeration.
But I have been consistent with about 1-2 seconds, once a three. I watched and clocked it.

You can try it, and hope it works for you, cause it sure as hell worked for me.
And they were fairly light characters, like Lucas or Kirby.

just so you know, the lighter a character is, the easier they can escape combos.

Was this against actual humans or a computer?

Yeah I know, but I still managed to get anyone who got caught in it.
And they were all human, I don't really play the multiplayer/solo a lot.
It's not as fun, and more predictable than a human.
