Wow, I just got done with a long enough online foray for me to actually get used to the input lag.

First observation, the game is obviously a completely different one. Less defense, more second ahead prediction, more throwing out two attacks so you think at least one will hit. Way the **** more spot dodging.

The meat of the subject here is that I played a MK for quite a while and I noticed quite a difference. That's an understatement, its an entirely different matchup. MK is still ahead, but not to anywhere near the extent. For the first part, he has to actually try to figure out what you're going to do! It's incredible fun, seeing a befuddled MK. Offline he can just watch you, and hit you completely out of the middle of your attack, not here! Plus, you can actually make use of the fact that he dies super early because you can land a hit! Hooray!

In summary, play an MK online, it feels good. It can't be too much worse than a 70:30. Instead of a one sided excercise in not being a tard (and killing the weeg) it's an actual fight!

I feel giddy.

With Ninty's online/Brawl, you can be next door and still lag WITH both players in the DMZ.
nuh-uh, more like you and your friend(s) have a suckish connection

I play alot online and offline with friends, I only feel a slight to no difference. Except those lagspikes, they're unevitable tho, but not really gamebreaking

Edit: nota bene most of my friends live in America

No, more like you can't tell the difference. There's a built in response lag, son. And we're not talking about slowdown, we're talking about LAG. The two get confused too much.
