luigi vs meta HELP

Ive been trying to main Luigi. Soo far i think iam doing great but really need advice on beating meta. I just cant get close enough to do any attacks. If i block i get pushed back to far to attack Luigi just has no range attacks. If i dodge meta is fast enough to attack 1st and attacking by air hasnt work at all.

any little tip you have plz post

Meta is a really, really tough opponent. Fast, multiple jumps, Up B as a kill move after aerials, crazy priority, a bunch of lagless moves, grab range is awesome, just a ***** overall. The only things I can say are to keep your distance. A good meta player can avoid being grabbed for the most part, so get in what hits u can and stay away. Use fireballs to keep him away for a bit, and it'll be hard, but be patient and try and get grabs in and see what u can do with them.

If you are off the ledge, make it your #1 priority to get back on asap, don't try and b fancy. Use tilts to try and keep him away if he become agressive. Out prioritize with Nair. Jabs are important also, helps ruin meta's plans. If all else fails.........................

Just dodge into him and grab, throw down f-smash. Or luigi copter across the stage. You can also use his running attack, it has decent knockback. As for his meta's forward b, air dodge, follow him, and wait for him to finish and deliver the punishing blow. As for his mach tornado, just stay away from him. And always throw fireballs, THIS IS A MUST!

Luigi gonig on Meta will be almost impossible, just dodge alot and punish meta when he gets cocky.

It's hard to punish a chracter with ridiculous priority, lagless moves and tilts that link into eachother.
