Luigi is my new secondary

I know that you cannot win them all with only one solid character. My main is Sonic and I've been using Wario for quite a while trying to make him my main secondary. Luigi was the other character I was practicing with. After several matches I have concluded that Luigi is incredibly good in Brawl and I find him even easier to use than Wario. So now I'm making Luigi my main secondary, then Wario and then Diddy Kong.

My question is, what are Luigis hardest matchups so I can practice my Luigi skills against them? Any tips from pro Luigi players would be much appreciated.

MK and Marth are the worst. No one else is horrible.

I would just not play Luigi against those two, though IMO G&W isn't bad. He is an MK that isn't as gay that dies even sooner. Not bad at all. You just have to play super gay against him. Ask Polmex haha.

Pit is easy, get inside and **** him. Or if you're having trouble, get inside, spot dodge, then **** him.

If you leave d3 off that list, either you're just bat**** crazy, or you don't play anyone good.

What about Pit? I got 3 stocked by a Pit today as Luigi. I think he is one of his hardest matchups.
Powershield everything he throws at you, but also know when to shield his angelic ring so you can punish out of that. His multi jump is predictable and the best side to hit is from the top, because his u-air is the slowest of his aerials (Either that or F-air, I can't remember).

A rule of thumb with aerial combat is to attack from a diagonal (with u-air) or from the side that the enemy is weakest (based on the respective aerial).

Actually, I don't struggle that much against Marth. I just hate his Forward... anything. Especially side-b and forward-air. His jab can piss off too.

MK, well, I rarely face a good one, so I use my strategy of overzealous offense. I've won... twice. I know that I'm being stupid like this, but it's match-up inexperience. I normally just pick TL instead. Also, I've never faced n ICG happy DDD. Even without the CG, he's still pretty tough. Well, once I faced an ICG happy DDD. I got so aggravated watching the same 2 seconds loop over an over again that I left. This is why I don't want to attend tourneys.

That, and before I can attend a tourney, I have to be able to consistently beat hippie.

I fond pit easy, because Luigi has a ton of air priority, he is slower than Luigi in the air as well, his attacks last longer which also leave him vulnerable.
Just don't let his quick and annoying smash attacks kill you. Take the match to the skies.
