Recently, ive discovered yet ANOTHER tech chase setup. This one involves DThrow fair, however this only works on platform stages, and you need to be facing a platform; furthermore, the spacing is very specific. Too close and they will miss the platform, too far and you won't be able to get an adequate followup. So due to the specificity of this setup, i doubt it will be of too much use.
THE SETUP:
This setup works on the ground or on platforms. A good frame of reference of how far away to be would be 2/4 to 3/4 of a battlefield platform away. DThrow and fullhop fair. It must be a fullhop otherwise you wont be able to get a potential grounded up b. Drift onto the platform and great! Part one of this setup is done. Now time for part two- the techchase. This is pretty easy on platforms-jablock up b for no tech, and if your opponent is in the corner of a platform, that means they can either roll against the platform, or roll out behind you. This means you usually have to read only 2 tech options. Of course this isnt the case if your opponent is in the middle. This setup works from around 55-60% (tested on samus), and can even be turned around if your back is turned to the platform.
Thanks for reading luigi mains, i have 2 more techchase setups in mind, but one is boring and probably is useless, so expect the uptilt techchase setup next!
