I've read quite a bit about Lucid Dreaming, and I'm pretty interested in embarking on the journey to actually having one.

Just curious to see how many people has actually gotten one (be honest, no bull****ting) and how it actually feels like.

I've tried, I really have! I even downloaded some music that you're supposed to listen to to help you actually have them. Long story short, I failed. But while I was trying I got close. I'd realize I was dreaming, and that was kind of so awesome I'd wake up.

I had one a couple weeks ago. It's a very cool experience, although very hard to control. I was in my dream, then for no reason, i realized i was dreaming. At that point, i looked at my little brother and said, "dude, im totally dreaming right now" then i flew away. It was really sweet.
There are extensive communities and message boards for LD, and they have techniques to try to bring on the lucid dreaming effects. They might help you have your own experience

I never really tried anything to get it to happen, but sometimes I realize how absurd something is and think "is this a dream".

I'm quite timid though. I try not to do stuff with consequences in case it isn't...

On the other hand, even if I am lucid dreaming, I find that the world still has restrictions. I cannot fly on my own power, for example. I can jump really fast and far, or grab onto something and catch the wind, but never fly.

I heard Hemi-Sync produced some Lucid Dreaming products that help you achieve it. I was thinking about getting it.

Puke, what's the message boards for Lucid Dreaming?
LucidBoards.com? (lol copyright)

I'm interested in this stuff. My friend raved about lucid dreaming, so I gotta try that out myself.

One of the things I've heard was when you get a lucid dreaming, don't panic, because once you realize it, it's very easy to get overwhelmed.

Another interesting tip I found is when you are having a lucid dream, to prolong the dream, you either spin your body or rub your wrists (in your lucid dreams). Somehow, it rlly helps prolong the dream.

I think there's only been one lucid dream I've wanted to prolong past where it lasted naturally, so I wouldn't worry about that.

And most tricks like that are just a way of focusing on what you want better. If you have the focus, it doesn't matter what you're methods are. Everything dream related is just in your head, after all.

No. We have these posts at least once a month.

Anything you have to buy, does not work. It's all a gimmick. Other than that, read the newest one by Toecutter.
