Skyworld is banned in most tournaments. Of non-banned stages, Battlefield seems to give the others a good advantage due to the platforms limiting PK Fire's use.

I like skyworld with Lucas, it's so easy to break the platforms with him and send others flying with all his smashes. It's a much worse stage if your a tether recovery character cuz i go running around destroying the platforms so they cant grab anything....I know its means....i have to say, i hate lugis mansion, those dang supports stop my pk fire and i can only go thru part of the floor ...

lol, Luigi's mansion makes your Dsmash last really long, and his PK Thunder goes right through them. Additionally, he hits through the floor with Usmashes asn Uairs.

Lucas has an entirely new platform game. Check my thread.

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=154924

This technique if done correctly makes Lucas very effective on battlefield as well as many other platform levels.
Aside from what he's stated which currently makes sense to no one, I'd say multi-platform levels are his worst due to the canceling of all of his projectiles. Yoshi's Story seems pretty strong since it seems his up-smash can hit anywhere on the rotating platform and he has lots of room for projectile spamming.

I would have said Battlefield, but I've found you can get some really gimp upsmash kills on battlefield that come pretty much out of no-where. The platforms are low enough that someone standing on them gets hit by the full blast, and it's hard to maneuver out of getting hit because of the platforms.

Lucas does great in Battlefield.
Shadow Moses Island is not a Lucas friendly map (unless you can establish control very early and keep it the entire game, which isn't likely).

I actually like Shadow Moses Island. Most of the time I can give some major knockback to my foe and they'll come back at me, sliding across the floor, open for more hits. It isn't really like that the entire time for most of the games I play in that stage with Lucas, but it's something I like in particular about it. I also find it very easy to land certain attacks of his with the locations of the platforms and all.

I like shadow moses a little bit or rather the walls. You can ftilt everyone (maybe someone's gets out early) against the walls to medium percents without them being able to move. I think 70s the cap. Although you can do the same thing at corneria without having to focus on usmash or dthrow at 140.

On levels like Frigate Orpheon or Delfino you have to be careful as Lucas, cause if you're PK thundering at the wrong time you'll wind up shooting yourself towards nothing, and you'll just die. For the most part, though, he seems pretty well-suited for just about any level. Having that rope snake really makes him viable on levels that would otherwise be terrible for him, heh.

I can't really decide. Though, both Ness' and Lucas' recovery sucks *** at FD if you're practically under the stage. It's not like the FD in Melee. D=

Foz, if you angle it right on FD, you can actually ride the bottom of the stage to the ledge. I've gotten halfway decent at it, and it really pisses people off when they think your dead under the stage.

Skyworld definately, the tricky cloud platforms block out your PKT and everything. Maybe if I can master ZJ'ing consistantly for recoveries, then i'll have less trouble.

I like Skyworld... I think it's fun to weave between the solid platforms with PK Thunder II... atleast in Free-for-all.

I personally hate DK's waterfall stage...

Skyworld is bad for a lot of characters. Ike, Snake, Dedede, ZSS, Olimar and god knows who else.
