I have uploaded some videos of me playing lucas at the israeli tournament held last friday, I'm not sure if I have anymore vids to upload so in the mean time watch these:

Lucas vs Wolf: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U1hSU27m-4
Lucas vs Lucario: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63C9PiH9OJo

I didn't really like either of these match ups, and apparently too many characters are annoying my lucas. but I'd like feedback.

and also, I found that using short hop PK fire as an approach or a spacing technique, is huge in Lucas' game. and destroys range characters.

also, Lucas counters zelda :p Din's fire can be easily absorbed, and he outranges her with almost everything.

Nice vids :]
I agree about PK fire approach, in my games it's been HUGE.
Lucas should have a ton of control over a battle's momentum.

You seemed to have a lot of trouble when far above Wolf... the down aerial is really good. You can start doing it and if wolf comes up to intercept just fast fall the stomps into him. The range should hit him first. If Wolf doesn't hop up you've gotten closer to air dodging onto a platform/ground or hopefully gotten some horizontal distance where your forward air/forward b can protect you.

Also, from what I can remember right now you I didn't see any up tilts at all. They have been really good to me, with deceptive range from the psi energy (both above you and in front of you), and popping almost every character up for either an up smash, an up aerial, or an up B.

Yeah nice vids man. Yeah pk fire is definitley big in Lucas's game. I havent played with him much although I do plan on him being my secondary but PK fires are great.
Anyway, I felt that you were better than both of those guys even though you lost.

thanks for the compliments, I think these matchups are a bit downhill for lucas, and that I could have done better using DeDeDe or Marth. but I chose Lucas, so I suffered the consequences.

Yeah, those match-ups were just awful luck.

Out of curiosity, can PK Freeze be used effectively at any point in a match? It seems a lot faster than PK Flash, but only useful for edge-guarding.

if the hitbox was larger, then maybe. but as it is now, it seems too hard to aim when the enemy is alert to your attack.

I don't think PK freeze has any real value, 1:1 OR 2:2. Even when I can get it to connect in a 2:2 thanks to teamwork, I'd rather be getting another move to connect (either a stronger finisher IE Upsmash or a stronger combo move IE upB)

This will be easy for me to do since I was really good with pk fire with ness. I would only use ness's pk fire in the air and have to allways line it up from the 45 degree angle. The only problem with this is you became predictable when you were going to do a pk fire. I would take the approach of melee samus where you would fire it off before you touch the ground from jumps you use to move around. For example your falling in the air from taking a hit, you pull out of it and you fire off a pk fire before you hit the ground. Although that might not be possible since I haven't played the game yet, don't know the mechanics.
