I usually just like jab combo/ Fmash at the edge and do it.
But I don't use Lucas so yeah idk how his stuff works.

try it out, i didnt know id get such reactions from other people.
they always told me they never thought of it...and it works fine, just kick off the edge, if opponent uses air dodge it might still hit but the opponent will still go very low on the stage so actually he falls...
