After seeing just how incredibly awesome Perfect Shielding is, it got me wondering about ways in which Lucas could best use this.
I'm thinking up smash from a PS should be able to punish laggier smash attacks, while his other smashes could be safer for anything faster.

Also, PK Thunder safely at close range ftw!

Your sig is shiny...

But to the point, yes thats true, but Ness can be hit by a PK Thunder slightly faster than Lucas can.

Up-smash is the first thing that came to mind as well :O but to be on the safe side, D-smash/F-smash could work just as well. If you're fighting heavy/slow characters though (such as Ike), then yeah U-S all the way :D

This could prove to be the most efficient and valuable tech when facing the likes of Marth

By PK thunder, I don't mean PKthunder2, I mean actually hitting with the bolt at close range, which means maximum juggle distance.

Attacks in Smash are a lot easier to see coming than in something like Soul Calibur. If you were good with the Royalguard style in DMC3, you'll be able to PS with no problem in Brawl.

wat is perfect shield?
It's timing your shield at the exact moment and you get to get an attack off with almost no lag.

Yeah. For this I'd have to vote for d-smash. It almost draws opponents in, has good knockback, good damage... Yeah I'd go with it.
