Lucario Uptilt to Upsmash using C stick bug

So while I was messing around with Lucario, I tried doing the combo dash attack->UpTilt->Upsmash, but for some reason I can't use Cstick for Upsmash. It just doesn't do an upsmash. You can do down and forward smash just fine with c stick, but for some reason no Upsmash. Is this just my version, I am doing this on dolphin so I don't know if this problem exists on the wii.
