Love the game--- Suck at the game (Story of my life)

Hey guys! I've been around the site every now and then for about a year, but obviously not very active. I have been playing smash for around 12 years, but I was just a kid for most of that time and only started trying to play competitively the past year or so. I mostly play smash 4, but I REALLY want to get into the Melee scene. I practice for around 2 hours each day and I have read and watched pretty much EVERY guide to the games ever posted on the internet .... That said, Im still a pretty trash player.. I lose often to my siblings who only play maybe 10 min a day and don't know anything about it other than the very basics (Seriously, they don't know how to tech until last month) And I get I need to learn from my losses, but MAN IT IS FREAKING FRUSTRATING! But yeah! I am looking to up my game! I live in Colorado metro area and I main Sheik in SSB4 and Marth in Melee and Brawl. So yeah! Just looking to make myself known on Smashboards! Hoping to get some good online friends and people to critique me! Also wondering what the competitive scene is like in Colorado? But good to meet you all!

Welcome to Smashboards, fellow competitive player. I'm the same with Smash 4. I read all the guides and know all the characters backwards and forwards but still kinda suck. Anyway good luck with improving at Melee .
