Lots of Texture Requests (And a few Vertex as well)

Ok. I have looked through all of brawl vault, and there are still some alt characters I want for my build of Project M that I can't find. They are, in no particular order...

Try to make them fit in with the Brawl and PM outfits, if possible pose them in CSS, BP, and RSP in the same way as http://smashboards.com/threads/1-3-released-super-smash-bros-legacy.376318/ , and make stock icons.

-_- I have the .pac file for Yarn Yoshi, but I have no idea how to even get that into gimp. How do I get it into a format I can work with. Even with WinRAR, I just get a giant wall of what's most likely hexadecimal.

Oh wow, you're completely new to this, my bad. I'll whip up a red one for you tomorrow, I don't mind and its simple. As for the shadow Mewtwo, I mean a version with the gem on his shoulder isnt released yet, but we do have some recolors.

D DekZek Download brawlbox. It's a program which allows you to edit all sorts of brawl related files. Open the Yoshi .pac file in brawlbox. There should be a tab called "textures". On expanding it, you should see all the textures that the model uses. You can export said textures and edit them in gimp.

Again, like sinistersnakesennin said, most people don't entertain requests, but we are willing to help you.

What is the difference between .pac and .pcs files. I am replacing the .pac files (they were the ones in the downloads), but the costumes are unchanged.

I'm not sure about the differences, but you need both a .pac and a .pcs file for the costume to load. Luckily, if you edit a .pac file, you can save it as both a pac and a pcs file by selecting the .pair option in the "save as" dialog box.

From what I remeber from brawling hack, one of the files load during one player play while another loads in multiplayer play. I don't remeber which one loads where, but for best performance it's best to have both file types.

.pac files essentially store the information of the model or texture while .pcs immediately tell the game what to load.
If you have just the pcs, the costume will load in multiplayer but not single player or if your character de-loads itself (sheik transformation). Pac files on their own do nothing iirc, which is why it's most optimal to have both.

D DekZek I don't know if that will work but I recommend opening the pac file in brawlbox and on the menu bar, File->Save As-> and select .pcs from the list.
