If there is a thread like that, I didn't find it and yes, I did search
Okay, is there anyone besides me who has a sudden loss of skill in video games? Let me explain it to you: When I played Super Mario Bros. on the NES in my childhood (I think I was four or five at the time), I could play through it, it did take me some time, but I did it. Same with the following sequels, SMB 2 and 3. And now I wonder: How did I do this?
I could not imagine me playing this game through to the end today. It could be that the games were challenging at the times, or maybe that I play it on my computer since my NES lacks a cable (I don't even know which one -.- I lost my manual), but I haven't been able to do it since then. And it hurts my pride... I'm proud when it comes to video games. I'm not the best, yes, but I'm not bad either. I just want to play like I used to play, my fingers used to push buttons way faster than they do now. Am I getting old? And is there anyone who experiences the same troubles like me?
