The Master Core has been the true creator of This World. Since the beginning, it has been here, sometimes as a random prop, other times as a sphere of extreme power.the most common appearance is of the essence of order and chaos, named Master hand and Crazy Hand. Master Core gathers great challengers to compete against each other for an unknown purpose.The number of challengers increase each time he gathers to further test them. once a challenger prevails against the others, Master Core begins to intervene by creating an army composed of polygons, wires, and alloys led by a fallen metal warrior.once the army is ready,the challenger is teleported onto a battlefield where the Master Core keeps watch underneath.when the army is defeated,then the core separates its balance into the Hands to confront the challenger.If the challenger is victorious,all of the challengers are sent back to wherever they came from.this is the way it has been before the subspace emmissary.while gathering the remaining seven challengers to fight, Tabuu, a being from beyond This World attempted to usurp existence, had taken control over Master Hand. using his whips, Tabuu used Master Hand to united the villians to eliminate threats to his plan. Tabuu's plan almost succeeded,but King Dedede was tipped by a mysterious morse code that stated "don't trust the hand".
thus began his revolt against Tabuu. eventually all the challengers gathered managed to defeat Tabuu,but the damage was done, and wouldn't be evident until the next gathering.Master Core wasn't able to make an army like usually,but instead brought various Mii Fighters to fight.if a challenger does manage to reach the Hands, the Core will reveal its true power by burning one with a purple flame and combining the ashes into the other.When the fusion is complete, the result is a large amount of Shadow energy that will take form of a sapien, a scropion, multiple sabre-blades and the challenger itself. the source is unable to keep the Shadow energy in each form after being damaged too much,rendering Master Core defenseless. it is unknown what becomes of This World if the source is destroyed...
