Looking to start the game and wondering if there's a character rundown?

Good day. I'm looking to give Smash a try for the first time and I was curious if there was a character rundown somewhere online? I'd just play around with the characters but there's often a huge gap between how a newbie tries to play a character and how a character would play at a mid to high level of competition so I'd love to see a rundown from someone knowledgeable.

Just play the characters and find someone's fighthing style you like the most. Asking us after you found your character will help you understand them more.

Well it depends on your style,
if you prefer speed
Power
mid heavyweight

Those are just some examples
Just don't use a cheap character who's likely to get banned from a tournament like(is OK)
