Looking to open Gaming Lounge

Does anyone here have experience here running and starting up one?
I'm looking for any advice possible to starting a nice tournament and gaming lounge, but the sheer vast amount of planning is mind boggling.

Biggest questions, how many sets ups (consoles and tvs) should I have?

Well you are going to need to establish a company. You will probably want to start with an LLC. Now there are business licenses to go through and such. Igames will be a major help. Also your state website should walk you through the process of setting up a business.

Alphazealot recommends 1 tv per 4 people. So it really depends on how many people you think you will get on average.

It also kind of depends on the sort of atmosphere you want. Like at a karaoke club, where you might have a few friends in a small private room, or throw 20 strangers together and let them have at it.

Sort of how you personally want to handle the division of participation versus spectating.
