Looking to dual main fox/marth, mid level player need advice.

So i've been playing for a about a 1 year now and i would say im a mid level player who only played fast fallers fox/falco/falcon and I've never been able to grasp a hold of marth he always feels so nasty to me, so annoying to control. And my only real approach i've ever used with marth was spamming fair at enemy, or sit in shield and grab. Any advice to get a hang of Marth easier?

If you don't grasp the character why do you want to dual main him?

Also dash dance and dtilt are secretly amazing.
