Looking To Become a TD. Any pointers?

I work in the Memphis area and have been organizing tournaments fairly regularly. Due to a demand for officiated tournaments at our establishment I was hoping to get some pointers on what I can expect out of being a tournament director and where I can go to sign up to try and step up for my community. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
