wars not make one great
I am probably one of the few who was ecstatic to read these words:

Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we've had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th. I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

The first thing that entered my mind was "another amazing month of melee". I can wait for Brawl because it has enormous potential to suck and it looks as though it will not come close to having the same challenging nature that Melee does. I truly hope for another year of Melee, at least, before its support all dies out because of Brawl.

So, here's to another great month of Melee. May the delays on Brawl continue, to allow us to play this spectacular game a little while longer.

Long live Melee.

Or you know, you could just play Melee ater Brawl comes out and not be ********.
A person of minimal intelligence would have understood the part of "support dying" for Melee and realized I am praising the extra month of competitive play. Or, you know, you could just be mentally challenged.

I was expecting some self-pitying pessimistic post about Sakurai's heartless delaying ways. I'm glad it's not that. I personally can't sympathize with your point in the least, but I see where you're coming from, I suppose.

The problem i see with your logic is, thumbswayup, is that if Brawl does turn out to 'suck' as bad as you're implying (I don't think it will), people will simply go back to Melee.

watch brawl be 10X better and you'll be saying "I can't believe I wanted this delayed!!!"

Thumbs way down for thumbswayup.

Nobody EVER said that you had to play Brawl. You're only trying to provoke the Brawl hopefuls by supporting competitive Melee play and looking down on Brawl.

Say what you want, but your logic fails and is too narrow.

to omegakyogre: are you afraid you will suck at brawl cause there will be lesser need for skill and more need for mindgames cause brawl will be slower and it will be easier to recover?
