Basically I am attending a tourney May 9th and need to polish my Fox skills so I would love to play against other Fox players to improve and expand my tools. Plus fun :D I am on wii u and sometimes 3DS if you can let me know and if you cant, some text tips such as approaches punishes,etc are also appreciated

Looking for Training Partners [Tourney May 9th]

I'd love to face u this Monday man, I've got a pretty good Fox myself (Ill pm u when I can)
Idk how well these will tips can apply to actual tournament level play since I normally fight amiibos and cpus but I'll share em anyways:
-I normally approach with a RAR Back Air because if it's 0 landing lag if u dont fast fall it. If ur opponent is shielding u can either just throw out the back air then do a turn around jab or a utilt (normally catches em off guard). And to throw them off do a RAR empty hop then just grab them while theyre waiting for the back air
-If ur opponent is around 40-70% ur best punish option is definitely a short hop up air. U can combo it into any of his aerials (Up Air + Up Air is an op combo that does 32%)
-If u mange to get a jab reset off and they're below 40%~ use fire fox as a finisher since it does the most dmg out of all our attacks
-Also a good way to punish laggy ground moves while avoiding them at the same time like a FSmash or DSmash is to use an up air at the peak of a full hop and fast fall at the same time.
