Looking for some people to play with! (NoVA)

Hey, I've been in NoVA for the past year or so and I never actually thought to post here until now, nigh on two months before the new game comes out. As a result of my excitement, I really want to play some folks, but am too lazy / discouraged to look for / find a good smash fest here where I am. I'd really love to play some folks in the Washington D.C. Metro region, since that's close to where I am and very convenient for me. It's been a while since I've sort of been on this scene (maybe several years?). Surprised that my account still actually existed, to be honest.

I'm not terribly good at Melee anymore, but I main ROB in Brawl and I think I can easily bypass clunky N64 controllers and win some matches in the original as Fox. If anyone knows anyone, just PM me or respond to this message below.

Also, I am trying to arrange an online tournament for the 3DS game, but I think I may want to keep it to my friends, unless anyone's interested. All of us, I fear, are borderline casual, but I think that's a dirty word here (case in point: We probably wouldn't be too much of a challenge for lots of folks here). I don't want to fight anyone like Chudat (he's still here, right?), but I'd love to play some folks in games without Smash Balls and Ba-Bombs before the 3DS Smash comes out.

There's a biweekly at the Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon. It's literally right across the Clarendon metro station off the orange line. Just google Smash @ Clarendon or look it up on Facebook. It's only melee singles tho, but at least it's something. It's held every other Friday at 7:00 PM, and the next one is on the 15ᵗʰ.

There's also Smash @ Xanadu located at Xanadu Games in Baltimore, Maryland. They do PM and Melee. It's held every Tuesday, and they alternate what game they play every week. Next one is the 12ᵗʰ, and they're playing PM.

Sorry I couldn't give you any info on 64 or Brawl, but I hope this helped at least a little!
