Looking for nearby Tourneys

Hey, so I've been playing smash for almost 10 years now, but I've only ever attended a PM tournament a few years ago. I really wanna get into the melee scene, but I haven't been able to find any tournaments nearby. I live in the DFW area of Texas and I was wondering if anybody knew of any nearby tournaments. Hopefully, I'm just awful at searching because I've really wanted to get into the scene, and I would really appreciate if someone was willing to help me out.

good ways to find scenes are by using the event section of smashboards, joining facebook groups and even just flat out google/bing ur location for smash events
