Looking for fellow Portland, OR PM Smashers

I'm really new to smashboards, so if these "looking for players in _____" posts are disallowed, I apologize.

Anyway, I live in Portland and don't have many people to play. I attend my school's smash clubs, but they're sm4sh and melee and neither are really into PM. I do play PM Netplay, but I would like to connect with local smashers.

I'm an alright/intermediate player but I want to get better. If there are any other Portland/Vancouver/et cetera players on here or upcoming tournaments, message me or something so we can play!

It's just a smash 4 event, though. If we get enough people here, maybe we could have a small PM meetup somewhere (or something).

I've honestly been super surprised by how often I get this response. So many people don't have facebooks, and hope other people are willing to act as their middle-man for info. Good on you

It was probably because your account is new and they thought it might be spam-- I got accepted.

You could try messaging a group admin, if it'll let you. If it won't, you could give me your FB name and I could try to talk to one of them.
