The battle toads... they were freakin MADE for smash.

It so sad that trade west is defunct now. Seriously.
But your moveset really should use more body part transformations.

The Battletoads were awesome, I remember spending hours using those old arcade games. I think they even had one mixed with Double Dragon. They really would work great for Smash Bros but I'm sure it's third party and there are too many characters they would pick over them.

If I'm wrong, I'll let you homerun me with a Battletoad when the game is released. :D

It WAS an awesome series in the 90's. You played as 3 toads who were originally humans, but they got permanently turned into toads. The games have rockin' music, really fun gameplay, but the plot sort of sucks. I think people mainly get kidnapped. You should DEFINITELY play it if you get a chance, though. The arcade one is much easier, but it's much worse that the console games. You get to see the villian's (the Dark Queen) umm.... "goods," and there's decaptitation and stuff.

Haha, sarcastic much? Well I'm glad to see other people have talked about this. They would be a perfect WTF entry, and even have their own icon already (the little red frog head with the red spike circle around it). Guess there are other threads though so probably this is headed for lockdown.
