Smash 3DS Local Wireless Play

I tried playing local wireless multiplayer today on the demo and it was so laggy. Unplayably laggy. There were points where we were just watching the game frame by frame. Anyone else experience issues like this?

I haven't played it, but I've been watching 1v1 games all day on Youtube and there doesn't seem to be any noticeable lag at all. That's awfully strange.

Occasionally it would stutter for a second for me, but other than that it was smooth, and i played for like 5 hours wireless yessterday

Jezo,

Check to see if there's anything causing interferance around; For instance, wireless routers/wii motes/wireless things all can cause interferance if there's a large number of them nearby.

Hope that's the case. But there have been previous times where my local wireless has been problematic so couldn't do 3 player with people, so the other 2 just played without me just fine. Could there be something wrong with my 3ds perhaps?
