Other than RCC and Moreno Valley's scene (assuming they are too far for you, though you can check out their facebook page)
The closest thing resembling a scene near you is the little, modest, group that gets together at the community college In San Bernardino. They are always welcoming new players!

usually $5 entry fee. Tournements are held on somewhat random days it seems. mostly Fridays.
