Smash Wii U Local Tournament mode?

So, this is something I've been wondering since Tournament mode was revealed for Smash Wii U, will there be a Local Tournament mode along side the online tournaments? I couldn't tell based on the direct and maybe someone here knows the answer. I really hope so though since I really enjoyed them in Melee and Brawl.
