I'm sure that people will either

A.) Play to have fun while enjoying a little competition
or
B.) Play to win. Possibly for money.

Over there
Only if they are 12 and under. If they're any older I will destroy them... well, attempt to destroy them at least.

It depends. I have 2 ways of fighting.

No Mercy List
1. Noob using cheap moves
2. Insulting taunts.
3. Facing a very good player, but they think they are the ****.

Mercy List
1. Items enabled.
2. Friend.
3. Newbie.(difference from noob)
4. Competitive player on my level.

No if it's a random match. But if it's with friends and I have extra stock lives, then yes. I always say "Show me you're true strength!" whenever I'm merciful to friends just to play the part of villian or w/e.

I will show mercy to people who are good at the game by offering to let them join me in my quest to
take over the world. I show no mercy to the weak.

I have a really bad habbit on going easy one people. Even good players. If I am like 2-3 stocks ahead, I usually pless less intense. And then I end up losing..., I don't really wanna tell them I went easy on them, cuz they say I'm just making up excuses.

Hopefully enough online play will break my habbit of kindness.

I don't like to sandbag except when I'm teaching someone how to play or do a certain move. Other than that, I'll do what I can to win.

I show mercy to the weak when I'm in person. I don't like stomping the soul out of someone unless they make me mad. My brother on the other hand is simply merciless. Online I wont show any mercy though. I'll make it my personal mission to obliterate the dignity of any player who thought that Brawl would be devoid of advanced play or dumbed down (that goes for both scrubs and silly pro players)

I heard the CVS2 announcer yell "FIGHT!" as I saw this topic.

Probably die.

Every time I underestimate the opponent, some unexpected crap happens and usually crapshoots me. So no playing around unless stated otherwise for me - I'm going all out.
