Little Mac vs Mario

Am considering using Little Mac as my secondary. Good grief though. You cannot afford to fall of the stage with this MU. Any good tips on what to do here, particularly overcoming Mario's side special if you get knocked the stage and need to use your side special to get back on? Thanks in advance!

I play alot of Mario, and have to play this matchup alot...

When I go to cape or fair spike offstage lots of macs counter, it gets them on the stage (if not too far away) and knocks me away.

FLUDD is your real problem here.

For your case if you side b alot and the mario's are gimping you with the cape try falling under the stage enough so you are safe from that and can upB to ledge?

Attempt to fake them out by intentionally recovering the wrong way? XD
But the Cape oddly gimps the Rising Uppercut as well.

Save your jump. Let them cape you. Wait. Then recover will work a lot. Just recover low or wait for them to cape you imo.
