little advice against g&w

Um what specifically are you having trouble with...You say his back a,but can you give us a little more detail about how he plays?
Like how often does he do a move and how does he approach...stuff like that.

i should've mentioned the use of rar, fair, uair when im above him, and nair too
the guy approached with a simple short hop then a move
also i didnt know g&w's uair can actually blow wind

i didnt knw his uair could blow wind either till i almost died from it.
my advice to you would be to just simple roll back when he approaches you with a move.im guessing if he's short hopping and doing a move to approach you,that hes pro doing fair or neutral air.If he is just roll or final cutter.
if he short hops and lands to do a ftilt,just move out of the way and counter with an attack of your own.
becareful though because some of his attacks continue to do damage long after he does them like the ftilt or fsmash.
