Links wave dash/land

Like fox or i'm guess any character im having a hard time getting all the distance out of links wavedash is germ doing like a double wave dash or like doing a double dash? because it looks like he is getting good amount of spacing but i can't do it. Comments?

Practice mang. Hold the analog as horizontal as you can without holding it completely horizontal, then wavedash.
