Now hear me out. We all know that in A Link To The Past, Link had an uncle with blue hair who, after he (Link's Uncle) run's out to try to save zelda and gets hurt, gives Link his sword and sends him off on his quest. He doesnt appear again untill the end of the game.

Now truthfully I really liked the character, and think he could be cool as a playable character in Brawl. For starters, he would not use a sword, he would use punches and kicks, and various of the items found in ALttP (or any Zelda game I guess).

Well, what do you think?

How about you suggest a moveset (namely specials), and some other specs to the character. Then we'll talk ;) .

I'm sure any moveset I could make would be 10X worse than what they would actually make. Besides, I intended on leaving it up to your own imagination. Also another good idea would be that mask salesman from Majora's Mask. Pressing down B would cause him to put on one of 3 masks - Deku, Goron, and Zora. That would be so awsome.

No he wouldn't. He wouldn't use a sword, or punches, or kicks or anything for that matter. Because he will never, ever, ever, EVER be payable in any Super Smash Bros. game.

Well for starters I've never seen Sakurai's poll.

This topic was not made to imply that I think he is going to appear in the game. I did not say anything like "Yeah, so I'm pretty conviced that Link's Uncle is going to be in." This was made merely to explain my idea for him being in this game, and tell you what he would be like. Do I think he will be in the game? No.

It's just an idea for you to think about. Also, Gerudo Warrior, you are pretty lame.

Your typing skills are atrocious. It's one thing to say you don't like an idea. But using bad insults doesn't really prove any sort of point you may have.

there are a lot of Zelda characters that deserves being in much more than Link's Uncle (heh, he doesn't even has a name) just to name a few, Vaati, Skull Kid, Midna, Zant, Tingle, even Ralph from Oracle of Ages had a more importanto role tha Link's Uncle, he was only to make the beggining of the game a bit more sad, to give Link the sword and an explanation on how Link survived without any kind of protection when he is only a kid.

I can see your desire is obvious, but as you can see the idea carries far with few. Why would Sakurai put in a character that is not this well known/liked?

I don't know. Can you truly imagine hearing this when you select the character? You're getting ready for an epic battle. The announcer is ready with declaring which characters you shall select...

"MARIO! Versus...! Link's Uncle!"

I thought so.

That cowboy guy from Mother 3 stands a better chance than Link's Uncle; Uncle has at best 1% importance in the game; from what I read that plank-wielding cowboy at least had SOME part to play... (And at least he had a cool YTMND SSBB animation...)

Look sorry to say this but The amount of zelda reps as it is are far too much and then yourthinking of putting this random dude without a name in is just random and something like a hallucination man, come off it.

Even better idea lets put the girl that runs the fishing spot in twilight princess in, maybe she can use punch and kick attacks

I know lol the uncle was just and extra in the storyline, not only are there too many zelda people but i would agree with him if he said he wanted the minish people for an assist tropy or something
