Link Combo Thread

The Link boards have many different threads where people post their combos. In effort to clear things up, the Link Combo Thread has been created. Post your combos here.

What to do on this thread

1. Post your own combo videos(if you don't have a video, just tell us your combos)

2. Ask questions about possible combos

3. Give players feedback on their combos

4. Criticize(constructive criticism)

5. Rate each others combos

6. Talk about anything related to combos

What not to do on this thread

1. Argue

2. Flame Noobs

3. Criticize(destructive criticism)

4. Ask questions that are not specifically about combos. There is a thread for that

I was planning on making a video tutorial series of this so a few of these are fresh off my mind.
Combo #1:

Dash Attack > Up-Tilt > Up-Tilt > Up-Smash

Try to juggle them with some DACs after but it's not always possible.

Combo #2:

At the edge of the stage with minimal percent to the opponents stock....

Grab > Back throw > (they'll use their double jump to get back on the stage) You jump and Back Air > Use your double jump and back air them again further off the stage.

This can kill Ikes at 0% sometimes. I call it the Ike Gimper. Works well on people with crap jumps for the KO and generally works on most people for a standard back-throw into two or at least ONE B-Air.

Video: 3:15 in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnZKJiEEU04

Combo #3:

Pull out bomb > Jump over opponents head > Down throw Bomb > Forward-Air or Nair while they're exploding. If they're behind you while it explodes a back air will get a kick off them.

This is at very least a solid two hit combo. Depending where you and they fall at low percents you can follow it up with a Grab (which can lead to a DAC if thrown forward, down or backwards) Jabs (into a potential Jab Cancel if you want) or into a Smash of your choice depending where you land and where they land. Low percent though.

Combo #4:

I learned this from Legan videos which is when you're off the stage hanging
Ledgehop F-Air into a Grab when they're at low percents. Doesn't have to be from a ledge hop.

Video of Legan doing it to Ryzen at 2:30 >

Combo #5:

First hit of the Zair into Forward Tilt if you're close OR into a grab when you land if you're in range. You can link a lot of things with that initial stun of the first Z-air hit.

Combo #6:

Two hits of Zair into DAC or just a walking Up-Smash if they're too close to DAC.

There's tons more good reliable combos I didn't add...and then there's the harder to pull off, situational or flashy ones hardly worth mentioning. I'll let other people contribute...

I've been planning on making a video of this along with a common amateur mistakes video but I've been lazy to film and choreograph it since I'm a dead beat lazy mofo

combos?

grab > dthrow > grab > dthrow > fsmash > double fsmash
(only works at 0% as far as I know)

dthrow > bair> double jump rang > arrow cancel

variation to oddlers 1 combo
dash attack > utilt, utilt etc > usmash > full hop uair juggles

bombslide fthrow > fsmash/utilt/jab/ SHFF nair/SHFF fair/zair

bomb pull > bomb dthrow > footstool > FF nair > JAB LOCK! > fully charged SOAAW!

bair > craq walk anything

rang > DAC

bair > arrow cancel
(I dont like this one actually, but it is a combo)

gale return combos:

dsmash first hit > gale > dsmash second hit

usmash (all three hits) > gale > Usmash

spam patterns(not combos but still thought up before the match):

Full jump bomb pull > arrow cancel > sh bomb throw > double jump bomb pull > arrow cancel > repeat from step three if able

full jump bomb pull > double jump rang > arrow cancel > SH bomb throw > arrow cancel

Would this combo work out in a match?

Grab a bomb > Bair with bomb > Zair with bomb > Throw the bomb at the opponent > Jump and hit them with the boomerang > If they fall down, jab lock > Spin attack.

ehm... test it instead of asking if it will work. Besides its kind of hard to define what a combo is in brawl, since you can DI or dodge almost everything if you know when and what the next attack is going to be.

I would test it myself but I can't play it for a couple days.
