Limits to third party characters in Brawl

I know some of you guys reading this will be shocked at first, but I want you to think about third-party characters in Brawl. I disagree with many characters that others want in Brawl. For one, anime and manga characters, such as Naruto and Inuyasha, have nothing to do with video games or Nintendo. Also, characters such as Master Chief, I just can't see Brawl. Characters such as Megaman, Sonic, and Snake seem to fit in just fine. I think that if a character and the universe that they come from can fit in good, they should be in Brawl. Naruto wouldn't fit in at all. Please tell me what you think.

And you're probably not the only one thinking this. There's probably tons of replies like this in the specific character threads already. People are just either having some fun with those threads or have their hopes up a notch too high. I wouldn't worry about it.

Was I not in on this or something??? It just annoys me because I saw threads and flash games(which I refused to play) had these types of characters.

I think that if a character and the universe that they come from can fit in good, they should be in Brawl(I'm pointing at you, Naruto.)

Please tell me you aren't implying he should be in...

I'm not a fan of 3rd parties anyway. Get the bare essentials in and that's it. We don't need more than three 3rd parties...

I just realized that was screwed up. Naruto has no right to be in Brawl.

This is nothing new. Sakurai himself already told us that there would be no anime or manga characters in Brawl, so there hasn't been anyone who has seriously suggested that since then (not that it was popular before either). Master Chief was never a possibility either since he has never been in a game on a Nintendo system, which Sakurai said is the most basic prerequisite for a third-party character to be in Brawl, so thats no worry either.

I disagree with the "fit in" thing though. SSB is fundamentally a crossover game - you have characters from games as light-hearted and ridiculous as Mario, Yoshi, and Wario Ware fighting with and against characters from such serious, dark-storied games as Fire Emblem, Metroid, and now Metal Gear. Anything can fit. Theres no nebulous, undefined border of things that do and don't "fit in," there are only characters and series worthy of being in (those important to Nintendo and popular enough) and those that aren't.
