If you pick a brown colored character (i.e link right C, Mario down C), and use a character modifier to change it to CF, the end result is a yellow captain falcon:

yea you just have to change it to board the platforms. Which is definitely easier.

This $06 07 value also has the bi-coloured Pikachu and Jigglypuff.
