Lighter and a cockroach

I just found a lighter under my couch. I also just caught a roach in my basement. I put it in a glass jar. I'm thinking about spraying the inside of the jar with gasoline and throwing a lit piece of tissue in it.

Any other worthy ideas?

I used to get a glass of boiling water and go outsides and put ants in it. They would twitch for like a second then stop moving all together. Pretty messed up, I know, but I didn't have a magnifying glass XD

I used grab them and toss them on road way, some of them actually did get squashed by a moving car.
