LHDL with X button?

Hi, I use X to jump, and I'm having trouble with the LHDL. Is there anyone out there who LHDL with X?

please use the search function. using the x button is easy to LHDL 2 lasers but at different heights.

use the control stick to jump up and fire lasers, it is so much easier to fire at the same height, u can try practicing using x for this..but it'll take it a real long time. i mean even dashizwiz uses the control stick and he can X+B X+B mad fast for his multi-shine.

so use the control stick.

I do know that it is very hard to LHDL with X, so that's why I want to know whether there is anyone able to LHDL with X. If there isn't, then I'm wasting my time, but I really want to stick with one button for all jumps.

Umm I can LHDL with Y...... Lol X is weird, go to Y =D (jkin!) If your normaly use X for all your jumps you may as well learn it here too. But If you still cant do it after a specific time, then you may as well use analog cuz it sure is easy..

its not necessary to stick with your primary jump button for all jumps you know... I myself use x for just about anything and I have fast enough fingers to Multishine with falco but doing consistent LHDL with it is risky. So I use the control stick for that and for JC midair shine to bair combos since its the fastest. It seriously doesn't matter if you stick to one button...

Wow,LHDL is hard? It's harder with X? Wierd that I mastered it today with my first shot at practicing.I can even use it constantly in combat...I guess some poeple have slower fingers.(Yes,I jump with X,even with Fox)

Well,here is the basic break down of it:

1.Hit down on the Joy-Stick

2.Jump(X,Y or Up on Jpy-Stick)

3.Just shoot lasers

It's really THAT easy.

DaShizWiz says he uses Y not X.

lol and using x for lhdl takes fast fingers.

i don't really see why people are so set using the same button to jump w/ for everything, when i learn a technique, i form a "virtual button" in my mind, that my fingers do what's programmed for that button, like a wavedash button, multishine button, swd button, etc... I jump w/ all sorts of buttons and means for different reasons, just because one normally jumps w/ x doesn't mean they should learn to lhdl w/ x, when they could learn to do it w/ y easier, and only use y to lhdl with, so they'll have a jump button (x), and an lhdl button (y>b>b).

i do LHDL with the control stick. but i jump with X. occasionally ill use X for the technique, to practice my finger movement from X > B.
but if i actually wanna perform it right, ill use the control stick
