So recently I've started to really nail my tech skill with Falco (Waveshine, JC grab out of shine, consistent l-canceling, ect.). But one thing I'm having trouble with is ledge hop double lasering. So I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on the timing and which jump buttons I should use to do this, along with finger position if that's relevant. Any help is appreciated :)

Down on control stick
Y/X to jump
Move control stick back to neutral position while you jump
Spam B, once the first laser comes out, it's safe to start DI'ing inwards

Alright thanks, I think my problem was that I tapped away from the stage to prevent fast falling, but ironically that was causing me to sd lol

I actually switched to jumping with Y specifically for this. You can position your right thumb so that the top of the thumb is at the bottom of the Y button, and just above the knuckle is at the B button. So you can tap down to fastfall off the ledge, and then just press your thumb down starting from the top, once you've reached the point at which you should jump.

I found pressing down to fast fall makes the timing easier. When I pressed away, no fast fall, so I could never get the two lasers on the same level.

Also you can claw grip makes everything easier lulz
