http://www.twitch.tv/twitchplayspokemon is doing betting on 4 level9 CPU's
ofcource items is on so anything can happen but I still think I could get an edge if I know which cpu's are tougher,
Is there a tier list for level9 CPU's?
My guess would be characters that are to launch and can do great damage and launching would do great like bowser but bowser has the bad habit of falling. Maybe a character with good range? small hit box? or :rosalina: ofcource

Normally the issue with level9CPU's is that they read input, but that isn't an issue when it is facing other level9CPU's.

note: the bets are 4to1 bets regardless of how everyone else bets.

Pure theory crafting here, but looking at the specific traits of CPUs, I have to say Mac is the best. Frame perfect counter/airdodging means he won't get juggled, and CPUs don't know how to gimp, and won't be baiting anything out. That leaves his amazing ground game.

Yeah, I think CPU Lucina is S-tier. CPU Mac is probably up there as well, and CPU Mario too. Actually, CPU Mario would have a really good match-up against CPU Mac, I think, since CPU Mario knows how to gimp using the cape. Oh also he reflects projectiles frame-perfect so he'll destroy CPU Mega Man as well I suspect.

CPU Pit is ridiculously low-tier I suspect, reason being that his opponents will always SDI upwards on the first hit of his FSmash to dodge the second hit. Oh, and they always SDI out of his NAir and USmash as well.

CPU Samus is terrible because her USmash and UAir will never connect fully thanks to SDI, and I suspect the Screw Attack won't either. Also because CPUs are frame-perfect with reflectors/absorbers so her Charge Shot won't accomplish anything.

CPU Zelda will probably be amazing because she never misses the sweetspots on FAir/BAir/DAir.

Do you guys think the Lv 9 computers play to your skill level? I certainly do. When I take a couple days off I wreck them for about 5 rounds. I don't think im getting tired. Thoughts?

Actually, it's sorta that level 9 CPUs react inhumanly well to the tactics of an actual competent player, but make stupid mistakes that get them wrecked if you play simple. At least, that's what I've heard. Me? I always do poorly against them and their frame-perfect rolls/sidesteps/perfect shields/grabs/counters/air dodges/reflectors. They make matches so incredibly long…. I mean, in a stock match you can still win by waiting for them to approach you and getting a few hits off, rinse and repeat for the next 8 minutes. But in a time match, you have to approach and try to secure the kill, and it's darn near impossible since they perfect-shield or roll away from every attack, sidestep dodge every grab, and reflect every projectile if they have a reflector. Oh, and if they have a counter they'll counter everything they don't perfect shield. Also if you try to approach they throw a weak projectile at you, roll away, or simply space their tilts 100% pixel-perfectly to hit you before you can hit them.

Current Tier list based on what you've said so far:
S: :4lucina::4littlemac:
Tier below S tier: :4mario::4luigi::4zelda:
Everyone else tier temporary hold position: :substitute:
Bottom tier: :4diddy::4pit::4samus:

Another thing :4dedede: and :4mewtwo: tend to get the smash ball :disco: because they can reach it easily and deal lots of damage to it, and getting final smash on 1stock is basically instant win.

Probably CPU's with counters because they frame them perfectly like every time.
Should I just put all characters with counter in the top rank? CPU's are known for variegating their attacks they're not just going to spam counter over and over, and there are ways to get around counters like grabbing and certain jabs.

Note, Twitchplayspokemon went back to betting on Pokemon. :244:

There's a twitch channel called SmashCPU which does Melee and PM CPU battles and records W/L ratio, matchup charts, and tier lists. They're saving up for a Wii U so when they get Smash they'll most likely be the ones to go deep into the CPU battles.
