Let's talk about DOUBLES

Doubles is one of my favorite parts about Smash. But I feel like I never get to talk about like in depth stuff about it. Like what teams are best, what makes a good team, what characters are good doubles characters, and so much more. Anyone else feel the same way? Someone talk to me about this because seeing amazing team synergy is so satisfying to watch, and to pull off yourself with a teammate. Do you have a static teammate? If so what's your strategy and character combo? I'm just curious to see what other people think, because doubles is just so much fun.

Jiggles is decent in teams because if you can knock one opponent off-stage and have your teammate grab the other then you get free rest. On top of that there is little to no punish because your teammate can just jab you. Fox dittos with infinite team shine is pretty funny to watch...Also, once I find a partner to test with I want to try bomb recoveries with a Link throwing a bomb at his teammate to aid recovery.

I'm one of those people who enjoys doubles over singles anyday, especially on Sm4sh.

Synergy can help almost any combination of characters work together but it's always good to have a base of thought behind choices, like for example if you're gonna go Puff it should be good for your partner to be a fast character that can also avoid getting killed to easily so that he might cover your back fast, wake you up fast and the such, that way you might even be able to stock tank with Puff.
