Well, I haven't done much reading these past couple of months, but I was curious of what people in this forum read, if at all.
I've recently read the whole Twilight series, and I can't honestly say why anyone would praise it as the best book ever, since the whole book is basically fawning over Edward. The only decent part in the books were Jacob's part in Breaking Dawn. Aside from that, the main character, Bella, is an annoying *****. And a Mary Sue.
I've also recently read Lolita, and I quite liked it. The best part was at the end when Humbert shot the guy. While the second part bored me to no end, I found the first part quite intriguing.
I'm also reading Maximum Ride right now, but it's meh. I'm in around 80 pages.
