Yeah they need to put a hold on tier placements whenever a new character comes out. There's no way any of that is accurate.

I'd say it's more of a measurement of who people like more than others. The fact that anyone registered can vote based off what seems to be a very weak method of determining who is better makes their list inaccurate.

If you believe that tier list, Palutena's absolute worst matchup is against Roy, who should absolutely annihilate her, while Diddy barely beats her.
In reality, while Roy may beat Palutena slightly, it's most likely not by much considering that he needs to be within her grab range to be much of a threat, and nobody in their right mind wants to get grabbed by Palutena.
On the other hand, while I'm not sure how the matchup is after the patch, Diddy in the past has always been one of Palutena's worst matchups. The only saving grace of that matchup was that if she could get Diddy offstage, then she could pretty much take that chimp's stock for free. Every other moment though felt like fighting a trained killer with a butter knife, so getting him to that point was painful.
Honestly, I have a bile fascination with it at times. I don't like it because it is more of a popularity contest than a good representation of the actual tier list, but at the same time I like to see how badly they interpreted each if the matchups.

I love misleading titles. Well played dude. And here I thought I'd have to go all out in explaining why their "tier list" should never be taken seriously by anyone.
